This ruling maintains key pandemic-era waivers, including home-based, audio-only care, and expanded provider eligibility. Key details of the extension include: Duration: Valid through December 31, 2027. Patient Location: Patients can remain in their homes for visits, with no geographic restrictions. Provider Eligibility: All Medicare-enrolled providers, including PTs, OTs, and SLPs, can continue to bill for services. Audio-Only: Coverage for audio-only (telephone) services continues. Behavioral Health: No in-person visit required within 6 months of starting, and no annual in-person, requirement.
